Symposium "Energy-Efficient Construction in the Alpine Area"

During this symposium, particpants will learn about the background, possibilities and good practices in sustainable construction in the Alpine Area. The symposium is intended as a forum for interdisciplinary and transboundary exchange of knowledge and experiences. Participants of all alpine countries are expected. Up-to-date information on different aspects of alpine construction will be provided, as well as a framework for establishing contacts for business or research cooperations. Topics include:

• Planning, Constructing and managing sustainable buildings
• Sustainable technologies and their implementation in construction: digitalization, new materials, recycling of construction materials
• Special characteristics of the Alpine area: geography, climate, resources and the regional construction culture
• Funding programmes for energy efficient and sustainable construction / Funding possibilities for the Alpine area
