Policy discussion on how to link EU initiatives to the regional / local level in the frame of 3nd meeting of the AlpSIB Transnational Advisory Board (TAB)

26th Feb 2019

The AlpSIB project is elaborating as its main deliverable a “Common Methodology” that, starting from the chances and obstacles in the individual countries, identifies the common opportunities and challenges for implementing SIBs, with a special focus on the Alpine Space countries. The purpose of the TAB meetings is to have moments for open discussion among policy makers, practitioners, foundations, experts, stakeholders and other institutions, in order to finalize the methodology document. The current state of the “Common Methodology” is the result of confrontation tables run at national level and of two Transnational Advisory Board (TAB) meeting that took place in Munich in July 2018 and in Turin in November 2018. This third TAB Meeting is aimed to validate the draft final version for the finalization of the “Common Methodology”. More specifically, the discussion will focus on how to facilitate the implementation of EU Policies on a local/regional level for the take-off of social impact contracting: what initiatives are already existing? What is planned? What could be envisaged for the upcoming future? The working language will be English (Italian speaking participants will be supported by the moderators in order to facilitate the involvement of all attendants). Please confirm your participation by 22th February 2019 via email to politiche.europee@comune.pordenone.it
