‘Alpine Towns’ Conference 2022

Meeting topic:

What do we know about the Alpine settlement system? How can policy making support Alpine towns? Where will cities go in the future? Why are small towns important for Europe and globally?

We will answer such questions at our ‘Alpine Towns’ Conference on 9.11.2022. The conference marks a final highlight of our activities around the 9th Report on the State of the Alps ‘Alpine Towns’ and the TA2030 Pilot Action. The authors will introduce the report through maps, facts and debates. Invited experts and panellists discuss what the findings mean in practice.

Please save the date and register here to be kept informed! A final programme and logistical information will follow in due time.

Feel free to share this invitation with your colleagues. The event shall include all interested persons from the town level, to regional and national organisations, to transnational cooperation, to European initiatives and beyond.

With kind regards,
The Swiss Presidency of the Alpine Convention
