The geographic and structural characteristics of the Alps provide good potentials to make the Alpine region a European “model region for renewable energies and energy efficiency”. Macro-regional policy planning helps the Alpine region to tackle the challenge to meet energy demand sustainably, securely and affordably. The second EUSALP Energy Conference will be organized under the patronage of the EUSALP Presidency of the Land Tyrol and by the Energy Agency South Tyrol in its function as EUSALP Action Group 9 leader and in collaboration with Energie Tirol.
ENERGY TRANSITION IN THE ALPS
Is the energy transition in the Alpine macro-region on track? On the 2nd of October, represenatives from politics, research&science, energy suppliers, associations, NGOs and civil society will be discussing which steps are needed to support the energy transition in the Alps.
No energy transition without dialogue!
That is why the 2nd EUSALP Energy Conference offers workshops and exhibits interesting hands-on projects to trigger exchange.
The conference programme will be updated on a regular basis here.
