Meeting topic:
The Austrian Federal Ministry for Sustainability and Tourism, co-Leader of EUSALP Action Group 8, together with the Province of Styria and its partners from the Alpine region, will organize an interactive workshop for children and young people on the subject of natural hazard management with an exhibition of exciting natural hazard models and risk communication tools.
About 100 students from local schools, representatives from institutions dealing with natural hazards and climate change, and regional and local politicians will be involved.
The event is upon invitation, but it will be broadcasted on Austrian regional television and presented to media through a press conference.
