The EUSALP AG4 Assessment Methodology for Individual Projects serves to identify projects with a relevance for the fostering of sustainable mobility solutions in the Alpine Region from a macroregional perspective.
After the first round of project evaluation in 2020 resulting in 14 EUSALP-labelled projects the Action Group Lead launched a second project call in 2021 with a total of 16 submissions. Once again, three independent evaluators implemented the methodology to evaluate the 16 submissions resulting in a total number of six projects receiving the EUSALP AG4 Label.
This label helps the project promoters to communicate the projects' endorsement by the macro-region towards decision-making authorities who are in the position to promote the implementation of the respective project and/or to provide adequate financial support. You can download the Letters of Recommendation of each of the six projects below.
The European Week of Regions and Cities 2021 offered the opportunity to present the labelled projects of the first and second call to a wider audience. In an online exhibition and at a dedicated exhibitor’s pitch the Action Group Lead presented an overview of the labelled projects which reflect the great geographical and thematic variety of implementing sustainable mobility at the level of the Alpine Region. During the pitch, Tyrol’s Vice-Governor Ingrid Felipe, Alain Baron of the European Commission and AG4 co-lead Xavier Garcia (Région Sud) highlighted the relevance of the labelled projects to the targets of the European Green Deal.
